Canada Post Updates - New Developments
Canada Post Strike 2025 – 100% Vape Shipping | 0% Stress
Important Update – December 12, 2025
Canada Post has suspended strike activity, and their network is now running at near full capacity. Backlogs are clearing quickly, and tracking reliability has returned to normal levels. Because of this major improvement, we are returning Canada Post as our primary shipping carrier.
Although near full-recovery has been made, please expect possibly minor delays
Why We're Switching Back
Over the last few weeks, we used alternate carriers to keep orders moving. While they helped us get through the strike, we heard a lot from customers — and our own operations confirmed the same:
Canada Post remains one of the most reliable and transparent option for:
- Accurate and consistent tracking
- Fewer routing errors
- Faster delivery to most provinces
- Stable delivery times
- Delivery to PO Boxes and Rural address
- Affordable rates
With the network mostly restored and proessing nearly back to normal, Canada Post once again provides the best balance of reliability, speed, and customer experience
Already Ordered?
If your package was already sent out with Canada Post, don’t worry—it’s safe in their system. But it won’t move until the strike ends.
Placing a New Order?
Most new orders will primarily ship with Canada Post, unless a specific carrier is better for your region.
📮 Using a PO Box or Live in a Rural Area?
Heads-up! Although Canada Post's network has recovered a fair amount, please expect minor delays.
📮 Local Same-Day Delivery
Same-day deliveries for Toronto and surrounding GTA areas remain unchanged.
What We're Doing
- 🔄 Monitoring strike updates daily
- 📢 Keeping this page updated as news comes in
📦 What About Free Shipping?
Great question. As we migrate to new carriers, our shipping costs are rising about 40–50% — especially to western provinces and remote areas.
For now, our free shipping thresholds remain unchanged:
- $100+ orders: QC, ON, NS, NB, NL, MB, SK, PEI
- $150+ orders: AB, BC, NWT, YT
We’re doing our best to keep things affordable and smooth on your end. If shipping costs continue to rise industry-wide, we may need to revisit these thresholds in the future — but we’ll always give you plenty of notice.
Last Updated: September 25, 2025 — We’ll keep updating this page as the situation evolves.
July 21st 2025 - Canada Post is currently undergoing a nationwide labor vote that may affect service over the coming weeks.
📌 What’s happening? The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) is voting on a government-imposed final offer from Canada Post. The union has urged members to reject the offer, citing major concerns around job protections and long-term working conditions. 🗳️ Voting runs July 21 to August 1, 2025. 🚨 What does this mean for you? While no strike has been called yet, there is potential for service disruptions later this summer if negotiations fail. In the meantime, Canada Post has also undergone a major internal system upgrade, which may cause minor delivery delays. 🛒 We recommend placing time-sensitive orders early to avoid disappointment. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

July 1st | Heads Up! Canada Post Is Doing a Big System Upgrade 🚧 From Monday, June 30 at 6 PM (ET) to Wednesday, July 2 at 7 AM (ET), Canada Post is giving their system a glow-up! That means some of their tools will be temporarily offline — including Track-a-Package, shipping calculators, and payment options. If you’re waiting on a vape order or planning to place one, don’t worry — your package is still on the move! Just expect tracking updates to pause for a bit during this time. We’ll keep you posted right here if anything changes. Thanks for rolling with us during the tech refresh!
June 16th 2025
We’ve resumed Canada Post for safer and faster deliveries. If anything changes, we’ll switch again to prevent delays.
June 5th 2025
Given the ongoing situation between Canada Post and CUPW, we’re switching to alternate carriers for all shipments starting today to avoid potential delays.
May, 26th 2025
We’ve resumed using Canada Post for all orders. Right now, they’re still operating — but with some minor delays due to a nationwide overtime ban. Most packages are still arriving within 2–4 business days.
That said, the situation can change at any time. If the union gives a 72-hour strike notice (which they’re legally required to do), we’ll immediately switch back to alternative carriers to avoid any disruptions.
We’re using Canada Post again because their rates are far more affordable, especially for customers who don’t qualify for free shipping. It helps keep costs down on both sides while still getting your order to you reliably.
